Please join us to discuss the second volume of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein this Tuesday, February 24th at 3: 15 pm in the Parker Room (BH 442E), even if you couldn't make it last week. Location to be determined soon. Optional secondary reading: Denise Gigante's "Facing the Ugly: The Case of 'Frankenstein'" from ELH 67.2 (2000), available on JSTOR.

Due to the Roland Greene forum from 2-3 pm in the IMU, we will likely get started a little late.

Please join the Eighteenth-Century Studies Reading Group for our first meeting of the semester on Tuesday, February 17th at 3 pm at Sweet Claire's Bakery and Cafe! We will be discussing the first volume of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein! Please also come with suggestions for other readings for the semester.
